I started the 5:2 Diet the day after it aired as a documentary on TV. I did it for 4 months until Christmas and lost over a stone in weight. I loved it. I found it easy to do and felt very motivated on the days I was fasting. Of course it isn’t a full fast where you eat nothing, it is a low calorie fast twice a week.
